Getting to Lombok from Bali
Reaching Lombok from Bali is straightforward, with three main options depending on your budget, schedule, and tolerance for sea travel.
Fast Boat
Fast boats are the most popular choice among travellers and offer a scenic journey across the Lombok Strait. Departures run daily from several ports in Bali, often with hotel transfers included from areas like Seminyak, Kuta, and Ubud.
Travel time varies significantly depending on sea conditions and route, ranging from just over an hour to more than three hours on rougher days.
The Padangbai–Senggigi or Padangbai–Bangsal routes are typically the quickest.
Flying from Bali to Lombok
